Crispy Crunchy Biscuits
Preparation time: 20 minutes Quantity: Makes 9 or so Cooking time: 12 minutesIngredients
- 100g / 4 oz butter – softened
- 150g / 6 oz plain flour
- 50g / 2 oz caster sugar
Method
- Cut the butter in to small cubes
- sift the flour in to a large bowl
- Add the soft butter and sugar
- Rub together with your fingers
- Rub together to form crumbs then the mix will form a dough
- Squeeze together and place on a lightly floured table
- Roll out to 1/2 cm thick
- Cut out your favourite shapes
- Place on a greased tray
- Decorate or leave plain
- Bake in a preheated oven, top shelf – gas 4/ 180*c/ 350*f for 12 minutes or until light brown
- Cool
