Crispy Crunchy Biscuits

Preparation time: 20 minutes Quantity: Makes 9 or so Cooking time: 12 minutesIngredients

  • 100g / 4 oz butter – softened
  • 150g / 6 oz plain flour
  • 50g / 2 oz caster sugar

Method

  • Cut the butter in to small cubes
  • sift the flour in to a large bowl
  • Add the soft butter and sugar
  • Rub together with your fingers
  • Rub together to form crumbs then the mix will form a dough
  • Squeeze together and place on a lightly floured table
  • Roll out to 1/2 cm thick
  • Cut out your favourite shapes
  • Place on a greased tray
  • Decorate or leave plain
  • Bake in a preheated oven, top shelf – gas 4/ 180*c/ 350*f for 12 minutes or until light brown
  • Cool
