What is Project Bubbles?

At Rathfarnham Day Care we use Project Bubbles which is an award-winning series of Resource Packs which help us to create and implement a play-based preschool curriculum.

Project Bubbles was developed in Ireland and is currently used by over 1,200 nurseries and preschools. The Age 3-4 Resource Pack is recognised as a practical and valuable resource for the new ECCE scheme. Project Bubbles supports all the appropriate principles and guidelines in Siolta and the new Aistear Framework. With an emphasis on learning through play, Project Bubbles offers a huge collection of preschool activities, games, stories, and preschool music .

Key Principles
Project Bubbles actively includes and promotes the following principles:

• Involving parents and families, respecting their role as primary educator
• Promoting play
• Promoting habits of healthy eating and hygiene

• Promoting equality and multi-cultural education
